Custom Website Design + Development

Our approach

Every business is unique, and has different requirements from a website. So, I don't offer set packages.

Instead, you can create your own package by using the form below. That way, you can think about what you will need upfront, and expectations are clearly set.

The Process

1. Research

An in-depth look at your audience, competitors and aesthetic preferences. We'll establish the primary purpose of your site and form a site map that suits your objectives.

2. Design

We'll design + build a custom site on the WordPress platform. The design will be uniquely yours down to the last detail, responsive across different screen sizes and fully editable. There's plenty of opportunity to tweak everything to perfection with 2 rounds of revisions included.

3. Training

Customised tutorials will teach you how to manage and edit everything before launch. Ongoing support is also available if you prefer to outsource your website's management and updates to me (for an additional fee).

4. Launch

The most exciting part of all—we send your site live. Congratulations!

Your Requirements

Video content: Client must upload to own YouTube account (as unlisted status) and provide link to be embedded. By general rule, we do not upload video files directly to your website as it can affect site performance.

Copyright: Client must own copyright, or have obtained a license to use, all content supplied to me (including but not limited to photography, video footage, audio files).

Stock images: If you have opted for me to source beautiful, relevant stock imagery to use on your site, I will use low res placeholder images first in the proofing stage before purchasing the necessary licenses on your behalf for the final version. Please note, stock images are an additional cost and will be itemised separately on the final invoice.

Frequently asked questions

Q \ Will I have access to my website / a login?
Yes! I will create a user login and password for you.

Q \ Will I be able to access my website Google analytics?
Yes! We will send you the details. Please note, we do not provide training on how to decipher the data. Most of it is pretty self explanatory but if you wish to delve deeper into the world of SEO and analytics we suggest you engage the services of an expert in this area as it is a real science in itself!

Q \ Will my website be mobile-friendly?
Yes! Our websites are fully responsive, which means they automatically adapt to all screen sizes (computers, tablets and mobiles).

Q \ What happens if I need to change something in the future or make content updates after go live?
You will receive training for the elements you have chosen to include (such as adding a new blog post), so that you feel confident in managing it yourself. If you have other changes or content updates after go live that you would prefer to outsource to me I am more than happy to assist. However, as 'changes' and 'content updates' can be vastly variable in nature, I like to quote on a case by case basis.
